What am I thankful for today?

Good afternoon.

Finally cold weather is here!!! It's 59 degrees right now and the weekend forecast is looking great. Today would be perfect for soup!

Yesterday was, in a word, perfect. Bright sunny day, clear and crisp, and I took my husbands gixxer out for an hour of riding. "Ooh, aah", and everything in between. Perfect way to end a perfect Sunday afternoon.

Like I said, almost. I was able to wake up today, go to work, come home and complete my chore list... even have a BBQ going.

Not bad for 4 hours sleep since Wednesday.

Now to fiddle a while, see if I can get one of the sections here going.

Ok, so this morning I work on schedules. Not a hard task to undertake, but very detailed, indeed. Nothing a cup of coffee, or two, can't handle.

Coffee, lil' music, lots of blogs to escape to... so far, my day is just peachy.

Yup, did just a bit of that just now. Since I'll be short on time today on pretty much everything, I decided to order some takeout for lunch (late lunch or early dinner? lunner perhaps, considering I don't think I'll be munchin'on anything by the time I get home tonight?) What's on the menu? Cheese Pan, Pizza Hut.

In a word, yuck. Greasy, and my stomach ultimately does not agree. Decision arrived at upon desperation, and the need to not add another item to my To Do list. I'll be paying for it all week.

Now, to the gym. I'm off to work.

So today was supposed to be the beginning of a week solely dedicated to my site (yeah, right!) so how come i'm still working on these meeting minutes? Yup, the disadvantage of working outside of the home is that sometimes you end up taking work home from work, then your home work which definitely need to be done at home gets done... when? Oh yeah, I'm still haven't gotten there yet. Crap. And just where am I supposed to be at 4pm? That's right, work.

I wonder what his excuse will be? Bryan left to school in tears; I decided the best way to discipline him for not finishing his homework was to send him to school and let him present his irresponsible self to the teacher (who has nothing but praises for my child). To make matters worse for him, I just found the homework pages he did finish on the table... guess he was to bewildered to pick them up, or perhaps his tears didn't let him see clearly. He took the only page he didn't finish.

Where is that Parent Instruction Handbook that comes with every child??

Hopefully this time I'll get to be around more during the morning. That's one of the great things of being the KK Director with a set schedule. Yayness!

Now I'll get to finishing my NC course which has been on hold these past couple of months, back to working out daily, and intense focus on getting my sites going, now that I'm online. Past sacrifices are finally paying off.
