I would've loved to be there yesterday, and to have taken pictures. Better yet, be on for the ride!
You know, when I was a child, I always said I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up. My dreams were filled with voyages to explore space. Somewhere along the way this childhood dream got archived, but not forgotten. The kid in me still dreams on, and guess what? There's still hope left for me. I guess I should start saving now for this $10,000 trip!

i keep hoping jr. will be one when she grows up - she went to space camp a few years back, and she's wicked fun to talk to about all things space.

I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid too. Never had enough brains in the math department to handle the necessary engineering requirements that were called for at the time. Should have become a pilot so I could move over to NASA at some point. Ah well...
