Me, still feeling the angst of depression, but to hear good news about my girl today did bring a smile to my face.

I totally love the situation my daughter is in at school. Her school has before and afterschool programs right at the school. I didn't have to enroll her in a separate program at a daycare. It is a lot cheaper too than a daycare. The best thing...one of her teachers in her actual class helps out in the before and afterschool programs. So I get to talk with her every day to see how Ellie is doing. I love being in close contact with her teachers. She is a favorite in the class. She has had smilie faces each day on her report folder. :)
See, that's the kind of relationship with teachers I'm used to having with my son in school. As a volunteer worker, I was always involved with his teachers.
