Blog Explosion is kinda fun, and kind of addictive! There's a shitload of useless sites there, but there's quite a few others that are worthy of blogmarking. So, if you happened into my pages via BE, drop me a line! Let me have a chance at visiting your blog, too. :o)
Among the things I bumped into, one really messes with my head... links that change color? Please! My eyes, my eyes!!! What horror!

Now, I’m really getting upset, and I do intend to speak to the teacher about this. My son has told me not only did she say the before mentioned today, but yesterday she said no one was to use the bathroom because she found some wrappers in it (chocolate and chips I think) and nobody was admitting to it, and my son as well as all his classmates couldn’t go to the restroom till he got home. So, what, he’s to hold it for the 6 hours? W.T.F?

On a bright note, I’m so jazzed that I’m chatting with someone way on the other side of the world. It’s daytime over there, a fine looking, blustery day. She even let me watch on her webcam. Puts things into perspective, you know.
CSI tonight… awesome! Most excellent! Wish I could see it again. That murderer was an artist –with pen and paper of course!
Well, I have a book to get to, I’ve carried it everywhere today, but haven’t started reading it yet. Been almost impossible to sit down. Time for me to relax, sip tea, and indulge myself in these pages.

BE is really addicitive if you have time to surf, but i have found a couple of great new reads...like michele agnew, the church of steelle and wonder mom, so i can't complain!
and do tell, what book are you reading? i'm still trying to finish dan brown's deception point, and then i'm going to start on angels and demons...i guess i really like him as an author, huh?
i'm reading The Voice of Knowledge, by Don Miguel Ruiz. Publishers expecting a review of it, and I did have it in my sights. ;o)
something uplifting for a change.
I'm dying to READ, actually read The DaVinci Code - I got tired of listening to the tapes, more than halfway thru it! My Dan Brown list is growing, too... hehee
hey, just surfing via BE.... like what you've done here.

that is really silly what your sons' teacher is doing.. not only is it silly, it's a health risk as well :)
having things put into perspective is sometimes a great thing. :P
good luck with reading your book!! :D
Let your son's teacher now, that making kids hold their bladder can cause UTI's. THats how my son got his when we were potty training him, he held it cause he didn't want to go, so of course and infection came up and 4 days in the hospital later he was fine. I can give you tons of paper work on it. I would so speak to the teacher and the principal. Call the news... this is an outrage!! :0)
I would chew that teacher up and down then spit her back out. I would do the same to the principal if things didn't change after I informed him of the obvious mental problem your son's teacher has. It's sad that some teachers have to practice "control" like that over kids.
Mike: I can't comment on your blog. I've blogrolled ya, but it's a bummer really, if I can't post on your blog. :o(
Jenn, Becki, Shannon: I agree. I know of all the dangers healthwise, the least of it being UTI's... but I swear, this lady must be insane. I've given my son instructions on how to proceed on this, what to tell the teacher if she insists on having him go to the bathroom with someone else there. I've told him to even take note of the time he asks the teacher... three chances, that's all she's got. if it happens again today, first thing Monday morning I'm there. And I'll not allow him in the classroom if she doesn't comply; from there it is straight to the Principal's office.
Her rights end where my sons rights begin -plain and simple.
Whatcha reading?

Hi... I'm surfing from Blog Explosion.... I think your site looks really terriffic!
BE surfing. So addictive. Just one more click!
I like your site. I'll be back!
Came via Blog Explosion. Your site looks great.
I sort of get insecure reading the blogs on here because there are lots of great bloggers out there. I feel so, so...insignificant! :)
I'll blogmark yours!
Surfed in via Explosion and stayed to read a while. Your son's teacher is unreasonable, and needs to be told so. At my old school, each child was given an agenda book containing 9 passes, which could be used for restroom, fountain, locker, whatever, no questions asked as long as a signed pass was used. When those passes were used, no more passouts It taught the kids organization, and gave them a sense of authority over their use. And if a mess was left in a restroom, all we had to do was check over who was in there at that time, because the passes had the time written on them. Good luck with the issue, and thank you for the interesting read.
I came your way via BE. I enjoy your writing and, although I'm saying it way down here at this post and not above, the painting you've shared. Beautiful work!
