Why I love my kids #143
My darling girl noticed that there aren't very many pictures of mom to show around. She asked her brother, and since he didn't know, she asked me.
Kiki: "Mom, why isn't there more pictures of you?"
Me: "I'm usually behind the camera, Sweetie."
BlogBoy: "Well, that's a lame excuse, Mom."
Me: "!"
So, here goes, for the record.
We need more cameras in the house.
(the session lasted one hour, and you are all so lucky not to see my static smile by the end of the shoot.)

You look so different than the picture I assumed was you and your daughter on your blog. You have such an awesome smile. :o)
Oh... that is me and my daughter. That was a very special day. My daughter wanted to make me look "pretty like her", so she took off my glasses.
Works out pretty much like that Clark Kent / Superman phenomenon, only... not.
Also, we were blowing kisses to a friend, with the smashing lip gloss my daughter put on me... see, all puckered up!
you're absolutely stunning inside and out.. you've got such a beautiful spirit, zee!
Aaah the wisdom of children. You're gorgeous lady, and it's obvious your kids see it too.
You are a beautiful chica! And are those paintbrushes I spy??!!
Yikes! You're lovely.
I'm usually the one wielding the camera also. Not many pics of me around.
I began taking arms-length self portraits. They come out pretty good. That's what you should start doing.
Great pic! Now, when do we see that oil self-portrait? We're waaiting....
Thank your kids for making you get on the other side of the camera. I keep telling my parents there should be more photos from when we were little... now that I have a digital camera, I try to make up for it ;)
Always great to see the person behind the words!
I've been known to self-timer pictures of myself just to make sure I'm in some pictures.
I took the 3rd picture of myself by proping my camera on a rock, and posing myself like I was working on my laptop in the middle of nowhere:

Nice to put a face to the name/blog. *waves* hi Zee!
Oh I agree with everyone - you are lovely!!
Every house needs more cameras. :)
You look so comfy!
