Trying out a new style...

which is a nice thing to do I think, to welcome a new year. Wanted to try something different, and I'm going to give it some time to see if it takes. I hope it all looks pretty good as I work out any mishaps.

I think it looks pretty, but on my browser (firefox) and with my wide monitor, the text starts about 2 inches to the left of the white block in the center of the page - and it's kind of disturbing.
